The Applicant is planning to develop the property into a mixed-use project that is consistent with the applicable land uses, objectives & principles contained in the Legacy Lafayette Comprehensive Plan. The first step to fulfilling the vision of the Legacy Lafayette Comprehensive Plan is to Annex the property into the City of Lafayette's boundaries. As of February 27, 2025, the Applicant has held a pre-app meeting with the city and their initial neighborhood meeting with the adjacent neighbors. The Applicant's next step in the process is to file an Annexation petition with the city that will trigger a public hearing which will be noticed to all property owners with in 750 ft of the site's perimeter.
